Thanks Dan, Patrick and David; a very interesting topic this morning.
(not Skype out; I mean a Skype hosted interface on their server)
Skype compatible over the web?
thanks
David, I'm going to be asking that.
can we get a rough idea of price?
Sandro - I'll ask that question
Feel free to raise your hand and I'm glad to unmute you.
thanks Dan that's helping
I've muted all just to try to kill some of the background noise that was on there.
This would be excellent for mobile services in a hands-free environment
Ed - good questions, I'll ask
In other words, is one voice authentication solution any better than another?
My favorite question when it comes to biometrics. As you mention, you're relying on proprietary solution to protect against recorded voice. That will be broken at some point in time. What do you do when it is broken? i.e. people can change their password but cannot change their voice easily
So what makes VoiceVerified better than the others in this space?
many complex passwords discriminates against us older folks...:-)
:-)
Bit tough for numerically dyslexic individuals..... (-;
numbers test is easy to understand
I can think of a number of simple tests to prove 'liveness'
Sandro - I'll ask
good question James
I would like to hear how the voice biometrics recognition copes with disrtion introduced by different codecs and transcoding disrtion
You mention that the protection against recorded voice is proprietary and kind of secret. I came over here to learn more about that.. could you guys talk more about it?
it sounds like someones typing is overriding the speaker
I'll ask about that
I would like to hear more about how the "liveness" test works (without leaking an proprietary info)
I think that the possibility of using voice biometrics as an authentication method is hugely exciting - but in order to be a viable proposition it must be reliable AND affordable/cost-effective
CDMA cell - judging from the background mush
James - the guests are on a speaker phone over a cell phone.
Someone in a car?
The late James Body - I hope not!
just starting
Late. . . . .
