Absolute challenge to Microsoft. Explorer is the main reason why you don't use ActiveX for many apps. They break under Explorer. I don't know if this is a strategy or not, but Google must have decided to take matters into their own hands.

Rather annoying that it's apparently only coming out on Windows, today. (And not Mac and Linux.)
